This book is about a boy named Joey who has some tough times when it comes to yhe things and paying attention. Probably my favourite thing about the book was the way the sentence structure reflected the hyperactivity with long run-on sentences being used.
At times my heart ached for Joey; he is just a young boy and has already been faced with so much in life.

Now that we have more and more students with special needs attending swallowfd education classes NCLBI highly recommend this book for all regular education teachers. When Joey gets back to school after the trip he is working on a project to change the world inspired by ab assembly he snuck into. As an adult it brings up all sorts of questions about how children with ADHD and other special needs should be treated, brought up and educated. With all this said i would give this book a four because; there where parts that where very confusing but i really enjoyed this book.
Hes tring to teach children not to do swqllowed unlike he did because, he wants children to do better then he did. Now, everything has to be neat and tidy and it makes Joey more prone to go crazy.
